An intense mix of deep bass and hypnotic beats

GROVE creates strikingly bold music, blending dancehall, punk, pop, and jungle into a sound that’s both personal and political.

Their debut EP, ‘Queer + Black’, is an intense mix of deep bass and hypnotic beats, celebrating their identity as a proudly Black, queer artist.

Drawing from early influences in Cheltenham’s rock scene, GROVE’s music is made to move to. Testing new tracks live, they seek visceral, unchoreographed reactions on the dance floor, creating unity and representation for queer, femme people of color. Dedicated to Bristol’s local scene, GROVE frequently collaborates with collectives like Kiki Bristol and amplifies producers of colour on Noods Radio.

With a community-focused vision, GROVE continues to carve their path, bringing their unique sound and energy to every performance. GROVE is a Resident Artist until March 2025.

At all levels support and mentorship and community is an important part of the creative process”
