In partnership with community partners, we develop projects for young people across Bristol that support young people to reach their creative potential.
Upcoming projects include activity in partnership with Youth Moves and South Bristol Youth.
For the first time in 2019, Bristol Music Trust invited 10 young people in Year 10 from across Bristol to come behind the scenes and join us for a week of work experience from 1st-5th July.
Applications for this year have now closed, but for more information, click here.
Our higher education partners are vital to the work we deliver, and we are delighted to be working with University of Bristol, UWE and British Irish Modern Music (BIMM). Students from across higher education participate in projects, volunteering and work placements.
Our partnerships also enable innovation and experimentation and together we build new websites, apps and interactive installations to allow the broadest audiences from across Bristol to share and participate in our work.
For more information about our volunteering and work placement programmes, please contact Ella Kenny, Volunteering and Work Placement Officer on [email protected]
On Wednesday 23 September 2020 Colston Hall changed its name to Bristol Beacon.
Our new name is just the first step, it is about more than the sign above our door. Click below to find out more about how we’re changing, watch our name announcement, and discover how we want everyone to share in the joy of live music.
