Support our young ensembles

Nurture glowing talent into shining musical careers

Become a sponsor of our Young Companies in Residence programme and support the musical careers of young musicians.

The programme aims to give talented young musicians a world-class music education to encourage a professional career in music. This includes masterclasses and side-by-side performances with visiting international artists from John Eliot Gardiner’s English Baroque Soloists to drum and bass innovator, Goldie.

Bristol Youth Orchestra

The Bristol Youth Orchestra is the city’s flagship instrumental ensemble featuring over 70 of the most talented young musicians in Bristol.

The orchestra rehearses weekly at Bristol Cathedral Choir School and performs the great works of the orchestral repertoire, as well as ambitious new commissions, in some of the city’s finest venues including St George’s Bristol and Bristol Beacon.

“The biggest strength I gained from my time in the Bristol Youth Orchestra was learning to lead. It not only inspired and prepared me for music college life but educated me in how the professional world works.”

Tobias De Silva, Bristol Youth Orchestra Member
