Marla Kether

It’s safe to say that bassist, producer and DJ Marla Kether’s musical career is as diverse as her influences. Having worked as a session and touring bassist for high profile acts such as Little Simz, Loyle Carner and Obongjayar, her debut EP ‘All That We Have’ was released in 2023 to critical acclaim.

Championed by the likes of Crack Magazine, Gilles Peterson, Bandcamp and more, her music incorporates a virtuosic blend of live Latin percussion, Theo Parrish-style groove, and driving basslines inspired by her West African heritage.

ssadcharlie

At just 21, ssadcharlie has rapidly become a formidable, genre-defying force within Bristol’s restless underground scene – having performed at Glastonbury, Boomtown, FORWARDS Festival, and even supported Giggs on the main stage at Love Saves The Day.

Renowned for their raw vulnerability and high-octane live performances, the vocalist, songwriter and producer incorporates elements of hip-hop, punk and experimental electronics into a distinct, emotionally charged sound that explores themes of love, adolescence and queer experience.

t l k

Artist, vocalist and producer t l k centres voice as the instrumental core of their live and recorded performances – utilising layers of rich vocals, field recordings, analogue synthesisers and organic instrumentation to form their cinematic and genre-bending sound.

Having performed at Glastonbury Festival, WOMAD and FORWARDS Festival (opening the main stage for Aphex Twin), and earned praise from the likes of Gilles PetersonBBC Radio 1 and 6Music, they are set to release their debut album ‘The Noticing’ later this year.

Tlya X An (TXN)

Renowned for her high-octane live shows and incendiary blend of Y2K inspired R&B, hyper pop and earth-shaking bass – vocalist and producer Tlya X An (TXN) has quickly established herself as a formidable and multi-faceted creative force within the city.

Following her debut with esteemed indie label Spinny Nights, TXN has earned praise from the likes of BBC Radio 6, Spotify and Crack Magazine, performed at Simple Things and Dot to Dot, and recently featured on Scaler’s critically acclaimed album ‘Endlessly’.
