Four of the five musicians in this special 40th Anniversary band are among the most booked London-based musicians Jazzata has worked with over the years.

Denys Baptiste is an acclaimed saxophonist and his solo career took off with a Mercury Prize for Album of the Year 1999, a British Jazz Award as Rising Star in 2000, and a MOBO for Best Jazz Act.

Ed Jones is known for his blistering saxophone sound, he has performed legendary nights with Finnish trumpeter Mika Mylarri.

Jonathan Gee is celebrated as one of the UK’s most lyrical and inventive pianists. His trios have been well-received he plays with his latest trio: Tristan Maillot on drums and Italian bassist Mikele Montolli.
