Altin Gün

Bristol Beacon Foyer

Sold Out

A group of six people wearing summery outfits stood outside on dead burnt-out grass

Altin Gün distils Anatolian rock and Turkish psychedelic folk into a vibrant, infectious sound.

The Amsterdam-based outfit delves into the archives of 60s and 70s funk and folk-rock, drawing on the canon of Anatolian and Turkish music to create something at once fresh and timeless.

Last year Altin Gün released two albums: Yol and lem. Both of these releases saw them explore a more electronic and pop leaning sound palette, infusing their work with 80s-fuelled disco.

Given the exuberance and energy of their sound, it’s no surprise that this manifests in a joyous and formidable live performance.
