boci
boci is a Bristol based violinist and songwriter creating alternative folk. Her use of violin loops, synths and effects pedals allows her to create cinematic, layered textures which evolve into dynamic and intricate arrangements.
Classically trained, boci uses her violin freely and expressively as another voice, taking inspiration from traditional folk playing styles. boci’s music is deeply connected to her relationship with the natural world and time spent walking in the mountains of Scotland, Wales and the Lake District.
Chloe Foy
With her strikingly beautiful voice and emotionally direct songwriting, Chloe Foy has a penchant for finding magic in the spaces between light and dark. Growing up in the quiet of the English countryside, her songs are a reflection of that stillness, woven with threads of vulnerability and longing.
Following her 2021 debut ‘Where Shall We Begin’, which received rave reviews from the likes of The Sunday Times, Clash, The Line of Best Fit, and even broke the UK Folk Chart Top 40, she returns this year with ‘Complete Fool’ – an incredibly personal record that explores a deepened, richer sound; merging rock-tinged folk with classic strings and layers of lush vocals.
Firewoodisland
Made up of Stian Vedøy and Abi Eleri, Bristol-based Norwegian/Welsh duo Firewoodisland craft an anthemic, cinematic sound that utilises a blend of infectious pop hooks, indie sensibilities and organic folk elements underpinned by the duo’s signature vocal harmonies.
Following a slew of critically-acclaimed releases, which saw the duo’s music feature on Grey’s Anatomy, as part of a major Airbnb ad, and drew praise from the likes of BBC 6 Music’s Mark Radcliffe, Clash and Q Magazine, Firewoodisland returned with their third album ‘Further Than My Fear’ in late 2024 – blending luscious folk roots with an ethereal, modern sound.
Immi Dash
Born in Scotland to British and Trinidadian parents, raised between California and Stroud and now based in Liverpool, Immi Dash has quickly established herself as fast-rising artist within the UK thanks to her infectious blend of soul, pop and RnB.
Characterised by a distinct blend of layered, smoky vocal harmonies, atmospheric beats and minimalist instrumentation, the singer-songwriter has performed for Mahalia Presents and supported Generator and Slum Village on tour. She has since earned a spot on Liverpool’s LIMF Academy as a ‘Most Ready’ artist in 2024/25, featured as a ‘Need to Know’ artist on BBC Radio 1 and as part of Jess Iszatt’s segment ‘FFO (for fans of) Billie Eilish’.
Lady Nade
With nominations for Artist of the Year at the AMAUK Awards in 2023 and a Song of the Year win at the UK Americana Awards in 2022, Lady Nade stands as one of the UK’s most distinctive voices. Recognized as one of Bristol’s Most Influential Women in 2022 by Bristol.Live, she’s an award-winning songstress of extraordinary caliber.
Blending folk, Americana, soul, jazz, blues and roots into a captivating tapestry, Lady Nade’s illustrious career has spanned three critically-acclaimed albums that have earned her praise from Americana UK, The Line of Best Fit and The Guardian, as well as performances on stages around the world alongside the likes of Waterboys, Spiers and Boden and Yola. She is also a tireless advocate for musician’s rights, serving as a patron for the Music Venue Trust and an ambassador for the Musician’s Union Census.
