Bernard Butler has been noted as one of Britain’s most original and influential musicians. In 1989 he formed Suede, releasing the Mercury winning No.1 debut “Suede” and the era-defining “Dog Man Star”.

Butler’s collaboration with David McAlmont on the anthemic Yes provided an intriguing footprint across Britpop’s otherwise jingoist landscape, culminating in two albums and a sold out show at London’s Roundhouse in 2015.

He has also released two solo albums with esteemed tastemakers Creation Records, received a Brit nomination and enjoyed a celebrated period as a producer and songwriter, with credits on a number of seminal releases by The Libertines, Kate Nash, The Cribs, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Paloma Faith and many more.
