The musical moniker of Ross Wilson, Blue Rose Code’s songs hold a stirring, deeply emotive potency. Wilson’s songwriting is imbued with resplendent vibrancy as he paints a rich sound palette drawing on folk, Americana, jazz, soul and the celtic traditions of his native Scotland.

Blue Rose Code’s latest release ‘With Healings of the Deepest Kind’ takes his raw songwriting to new heights and is his first self-produced record. His previous four albums have seen Wilson collaborate with the likes of Ewan McGregor, Danny Thompson and Nashville gospel luminaries The McCray Sisters.

Neil Crossley

Neil Crossley is a Bristol-based singer-songwriter who fronts Furlined, a band whose lush sound spans alt-country, blues and folk. Their last album Win A Dream Wedding received widespread acclaim, with MOJO awarding it four out of five stars and concluding that “Songwriter Neil Crossley has one of those winning, strong yet gentle Jackie Leven/Richard Hawley baritones that do male vulnerability beautifully”. Clash magazine was equally effusive, describing it as “a charming and individual album of rare depth”.
