Join London’s celebrated ‘Three Choirs’ for a feast of Choral Classics including Allegri’s hauntingly beautiful Miserere mei, Deus and Fauré’s timeless Requiem, heard here in its original scoring for strings and organ.
Fauré’s Requiem stands out for its serene and ethereal beauty, eschewing the hellfire of other Requiem settings and focussing on the themes of comfort, peace and hope.
The London Three Choirs comprise some of the country’s finest amateur singers, which, when singing as one, produce rich sonorities that will bathe beautifully in the stunning acoustic of Clifton Cathedral. The choirs are directed by one of Britain’s most sought-after choral interpreters, Jeremy Summerly.
