A person with a beard and a trilby.

Renowned for blending classical influences with contemporary sounds, Federico Albanese incorporates plaintive piano, cello, and drums to create compositions that feel both timeless and experimental.

Albanese’s latest album, Blackbirds And The Sun Of October, marks a transformative chapter in the Italian composer’s career. Written and recorded in his home region of Monferrato, this album reflects his deep connection to its natural beauty, history, and myths. Tracks like, The Prince and the Emperor, and Adelasia evoke Monferrato’s romantic heritage, while Wallpaper of Dreams radiates tranquil beauty.

Inspired by his surroundings, the album captures a sense of freedom, weaving the essence of place into evocative, genre-defying music.
