Florist’s music occupies a gently transcendent space and conveys a quiet majesty. Via intricate ambient folk and lo-fi bedroom-pop the band, helmed by Emily Sprague, captures the enchantment of nature and a wistful joy in existence.

In titling their latest album Florist, the four-piece solidifies the collaboration at the core of this project – highlighting the foundations of friendship these musicians are united by. This is also tangible in the music itself, with a striking sonic synergy weaving together glistening melodies, lilting percussion and soft, poetic vocals.

Support from

Anna Mieke

Anna Mieke’s deft songwriting and enveloping compositions have asserted her as a vital voice amongst Ireland’s alt-folk genre. The Irish multi-instrumentalist and songwriter based in Wicklow, Ireland, toes the line between folk forms and vivid dreamscapes, for a challenging, emphatic and new voice to alt-folk.

Across her career, Anna has shared stages with Lankum, Lisa Hannigan, This Is The Kit and Rozi Plain, performed at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and collaborated with Crash Ensemble and Adrian Crowley. These varying outlets of creative expression are integral to her distinct sound.
