Four people in black shirts sit on a windowsill in front of a panelled window. The image is over exposed.

For more than a decade, Gilla Band have operated at the outer edges of modern guitar music, twisting noise, repetition and intensity into something entirely their own.

The Dublin quartet’s sound resists easy categorisation – equal parts post-punk, industrial, noise-rock and electronic experimentation – yet remains unmistakably theirs.

Renowned for live performances that feel both confrontational and hypnotic, the band have built a reputation as one of the most fearless and uncompromising acts around.
