Kutamba
Fresh out of Bristol, Kutamba are bringing their own take on the sound of Zimbabwe’s golden era. Intricate rhythms and bouncy melodies sung in Shona by Manu Maunganidze. From the fiery chimurenga beat of Thomas Mapfumo to the jit jive of the Bhundu Boys, the set showcases a rich cultural range of Zimbabwean music, with a few other worldly influences thrown in.
