“Jazz-funk guru” (The Guardian) and Stones Throw signee John Carroll Kirby crafts infectious grooves and shimmering soundscapes.

The American pianist, producer and composer has worked with the likes of Solange Knowles, Frank Ocean, Harry Styles and Blood Orange as well as soundtracking animated TV show ‘Cryptozoo’.

Kirby’s work offers a joyous, vibrant sonic fusion that “blends jazz with new age, funk and exotica, flutes often taking centre stage” (The Guardian).

Earlier this year the LA based artist released his latest album ‘Septet’ which “shows how accomplished Kirby has become in his writing” (CLASH).
