Beautiful harmonies and voices, both traditional and contemporary, resonate together. Inspired by Katherine May’s bestselling book ‘Wintering’, a new piece from composer Samantha Fernando asks: what if we made peace with the cold, dark days instead of running away?
Bringing their unique blend of cutting-edge music and classical masterpieces to Bristol Beacon for the first time, Manchester Collective are known as one of the UK’s most innovative classical groups. Here, they join forces with The Marian Consort – a vocal ensemble with a penchant for imaginative and eclectic programming.

Spaces for wheelchair users are available within the first 10 rows on the flat floor of the Hall.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs and emotional support animals are allowed in the performance space. Seats in rows AA-J on the flat floor are most suitable. If you prefer, you can leave your animal with a member of staff during the performance.
