An older man and a woman with a bottom lip piercing look forlorn.

Folk legend Martin Carthy stands as one of the most influential figures in British music. A master guitarist, storyteller, and interpreter of traditional song, his work has shaped generations— inspiring everyone from Bob Dylan and Paul Simon to today’s most adventurous folk artists.

He is joined by his daughter, Eliza Carthy, one of the most impressive and dynamic performers of her generation. Twice Mercury Prize–nominated and acclaimed for her boundary-pushing collaborations, Eliza has revitalised folk music with her charismatic, genre-defying approach.

Now shortlisted for the 2025 Mercury Prize for his remarkable new record Transform Me Then Into A Fish, Martin continues to reinvent the songs that define him. Experience two iconic artists sharing timeless music across their extraordinary careers.
