Martyn Joseph

This event has passed

A person looks over rolling hills as the sun sets.

2023 is singer-songwriter and Grassroots music advocate Martyn Joseph’s 41st year in the music business, throughout which he has flourished as songwriter through radical experimentation and immersive, live performances teeming with energy.

Often compared to Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer, Bruce Cockburn and Dave Matthews, Martyn’s storytelling prowess is driven by passion, social awareness and a sincere love for his trade. Armed with a unique percussive approach to guitar playing alongside an unapologetically powerful voice, it’s not hard to see why so many consider him “The Welsh Springsteen”.

Martyn and his wife Justine are also founders of the “Let Yourself Trust”, working alongside Martyn’s music to advocate and fund Grassroots organizations across the globe. In the last 8 years, LYT have donated over half a million pounds to 14 different projects around the world.
