Two vocalists pose in front of a large circle against a black background. Both people and the circle are stylistically depicted with a red and yellow duo-tone effect.

Following the success of their 2023 co-headline tour, ethereal singer-songwriter Megan Dixon Hood and Bristol-based alt pop band Ålesund are joining forces once again to bring brand new musical offerings to the stage.

Expect soaring vocals to move you, infectious pop bangers to dance to, and immersive, cinematic soundscapes to get lost in.

Megan Dixon Hood

Based near Manchester, Megan Dixon Hood is an ethereal artist taking inspiration from folklore, mythology, nature, and human beings. Self-describing her sound as ‘forest pop’, the singer-songwriter creates music that would serve as the perfect soundtrack to a dark, enchanted forest – utilising fairytale imagery and cinematic storytelling to invite listeners into an immersive world of magic and mystery akin to the likes of Florence and the Machine and AURORA.

Ålesund

Led by the powerhouse vocals of British-Norwegian singer-songwriter Alba Torriset, Ålesund are an alt pop band based in Bristol. The band pull from an eclectic range of musical and artistic influences to form their sound – which combines anthemic pop hooks, atmospheric soundscapes and jangly, Western-inspired riffs, which has earned them comparisons to the likes of Kate Bush, Stevie Nicks and London Grammar.
