Misha Mullova-Abado Group

Lantern Hall

Book Tickets

£22.40 Incl. booking fee

One person with their eyes open and holding a cello stands at the back amongst five others who have their eyes clothes. The people with their eyes closed are dressed smart casually and are out of focus.

The Misha Mullov-Abbado Group is made up of some of the finest, multi-award-winning musicians in London, and under Misha’s direction the group performs his original compositions and arrangements, influenced by a broad spectrum of music in the classical, jazz and pop genres as well folk traditions from around the world, particularly from South America.

This band have played together on and off for around 10 years and it shows – the rhythm players have a real intuitive cohesion across the various styles, and the horn section sound fully at ease with Misha’s writing, often sounding like a much larger ensemble.

It’s only a matter of time before Misha seals his place on the international scene at the forefront of a new generation of European creative Jazz musicians.
