Nubiyan Twist craft “an elegant yet earthy hybrid of jazz, UK soul and highlife” (Uncut).

Led by multi-instrumentalist and producer Tom Excell, the nine-strong London-based collective of musicians offers a combined powerhouse of talent and musicianship.

In 2021 they released their acclaimed new album ‘Freedom Fables’. The record continues the group’s collaborative essence featuring guest appearances from the likes of Ego Ella May, K.O.G. and Cherise.

Live, Nubiyan Twist bring irresistible dance-grooves and “the band’s pure joy at collectively creating a unique experience on stage is contagious” (Gigwise).
