featuring Bill Bruford

Lantern Hall

Three people wearing casual suits standing on a DIY esque stage. One bass, the second plays guitar and third plays drums.

A rare chance to catch legendary drummer Bill Bruford live, as he joins forces with electric guitar innovator Pete Roth and bassist Mike Pratt for a thrilling trio performance at Bristol Beacon.

Roth’s boundary-pushing compositions blend jazz with funk, rock, and classical motifs, shaped by his roots in Germany and refined through years in the UK jazz scene. At his side, Bruford brings decades of genre-defining experience, from Yes, Genesis, and King Crimson, to his groundbreaking jazz fusion work with Earthworks.
