Poetry For The Many

with Jeremy Corbyn

This event has passed

A person sits on a bench reading a book.

Raise the Bar proudly presents ‘Poetry For the Many’, an evening of readings, performances and discussions featuring Jeremy Corbyn and other guest speakers.

As well as a shared belief in a fairer, more equal Britain, former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and trade unionist Len McCluskey share a love of poetry. The slogan “For the many, not the few” was inspired by Shelley’s famous poem The Masque of Anarchy. For this special evening, Jeremy Corbyn will be in conversation with Bristol City Poet Kat Lyons and Danny Carlo Pandolfi from Raise the Bar, with guest readers.

Bookhaus will be selling books on the night. Attendees will be able to buy books before or after the event, and can get them signed afterwards.
