Three people stand in a garden and look at the camera. One wears a sequin dress and stands on a plastic lily pad floating on a dirty pool.

Made up of members from acclaimed groups Lankum and Landless, the trio of Ruth Clinton, Cormac MacDiarmada and John Dermody breathe eerie, electric life into traditional folk, reshaping it into something quietly radical and emotionally resonant.

Live, their sound blends vintage organ loops, spectral harmonies, and subtle percussion into something both ancient and modern—psychedelic folk with ghostly edges and a heartbeat of raw humanity. With their debut album All Smiles Tonight due on River Lea Records this July, they bring reimagined ballads of loss, longing and love to the stage, each one steeped in mythology and memory but humming with present-day urgency.

Join Poor Creature for a night of haunting beauty and otherworldly atmosphere, where everyday heartache meets the fantastical, and forgotten songs find new meaning in the now.
