A trio of women post for a photo shoot in a backstage looking area complete with crates full of musical equipment.

A female-led discodelic soul band – named as a silent nod to Nile Rodgers (C’est chi-chi!: It’s Chic!”) known for dreamy harmonies, catchy hooks and up-tempo grooves.

A sound rooted in late 70’s girl groups with the three strong female lead voices of Piya Malik (El Michels Affair staple feature, and former backing singer for Chicano Batman), Sabrina Mileo Cunningham and Nya Gazelle Brown (former 79.5) at the epicentre of a roaring 7 piece band.

The band have a strong political voice with recent tracks highlighting New York City’s Guerilla Girls fighting racial and gender discrimination in the art world and protecting women’s rights and preserving the right to choose in light of the decision to overturn Roe Vs Wade

“The ladies of Say She She deliver a mesmerizing vocal performance, weaving their voices together in an elegant, haunting style that incorporates earworm melodies, lush harmonies, and playful adlibs, climactic hindi riffs”

Saint Kochi

Born in London to parents who immigrated from India and Kenya, for a while, life kept getting in the way of Saint Kochi’s real lifetime aim — to make music his life, not merely a part of it.

That is where Almost Lost comes in. A four-song breakthrough that delights at the razor’s edge of bittersweetness itself and at the divide between nostalgia for the recent past and anxiety for the near future, this gorgeous snapshot of cinematic pop marks the proper arrival of Saint Kochi and his dreams.
