Slapstick Festival returns to Bristol to celebrate its 20th anniversary edition!
Featuring 35 classic, silent and visual film events alongside top-tier comedy performances across Bristol’s iconic venues, including Bristol Beacon, Bristol Old Vic, Watershed, and more. Many of our events are BSL signed.
Look forward to six exciting events at Beacon Hall and Lantern Hall, including appearances by screen legend Robert Lindsay, stand-up comedian Stephen K Amos and musician Rick Wakeman.
This five-day celebration, from Wednesday 12 February to Sunday 16 February 2025, promises plenty of surprises and laughs with special guests like Stand Up legend Ben Elton, Sir Michael Palin, Samira Ahmed, Lucy Porter, Alasdair Beckett-King, Adam Hills, and more still to be announced.

Get access to 29 events, including the best seats in the house for 16 events. This pass offers almost 50% savings and includes tickets to an additional theatre show at Beacon Lantern on Saturday 15 February 2025, not yet announced or listed.
Please note: Full Pass holders have the option to watch either Dr. Strangelove or That’s really heavy man.

Location: Bristol Beacon is located in the city centre with entrances on Colston Street and Trenchard Street.

Trenchard Street multi-storey car park is 50m away directly behind Bristol Beacon.
Bristol Clean Air Zone
Bristol Beacon is inside the Bristol Clean Air Zone. Check if your vehicle will be charged and how much you’ll have to pay.

The city centre bus stop is 250m from Bristol Beacon where most bus services stop.

Bristol Beacon foyer has level access from street level with lifts to all levels and areas.
Assistance Dogs
Registered assistance dogs and emotional support animals are allowed in the venue.
Hearing Facility
There is an induction loop at the box office. You can use this by adjusting your hearing aid to the ‘T’ setting. There is no hearing loop facility for the foyer stage.
