Stephen Fretwell returns with Busy Guy, a long-awaited third album shaped as a reflective song cycle exploring fatherhood, loss and renewal.

Recorded in a single, instinctive session with producer Dan Carey, the record captures Fretwell’s gift for intimate storytelling, weaving vivid images of modern life, love and memory into quietly powerful songs.

Across its tracks, Busy Guy moves between tenderness and unease, balancing lyrical precision with emotional openness in a way that reaffirms Fretwell as one of the UK’s most distinctive songwriting voices.
