For over a decade as Strand of Oaks, Timothy Showalter “has made his mark as the mastermind auteur behind the blissed-out jams and shaggy rock mythmaking” (Rolling Stone).

Following on from his 2019 record ‘Eraserland’, which earned a spot as one of NPR’s albums of the year, this year the Austin-based musician releases his eighth studio album ‘In Heaven’.

Showalter’s “preference for blending the celestial touchstones of British post-punk with the sinewy qualities of his American heroes” (Pitchfork) sits at the centre of his sound, alongside his emotive, reflective lyrics.
