A group of young people play violins

Students joining Bristol Beacon String Sparks learn to play in an encouraging and friendly environment where they rehearse and perform together, whilst receiving additional coaching from instrumental specialists.

This group is suitable for students who have been playing for as little as a term, if they have learnt to use their 1st and 2nd fingers. The music is designed so that there is always an open string with first finger part but the more experienced students can be playing parts that are approaching Grade 1 level.

You are very welcome to come for a free taster session at any time. Just email tom.campbell@bristolbeacon.org for more details.
