Bristol City Poet
Sukina Noor was named Bristol City Poet in October 2024, tasked with creating 10 commissioned poems, performing at civic events, and leading outreach across the city.
Her work has explored themes of homecoming, belonging, and what Bristol means to its people. She has delivered workshops with Bristol Drugs Project and at her former schools, performed her inaugural poem to a sold-out St. George’s Bristol, led a public workshop at Arnolfini, and given a keynote at the University of Bristol.
