Six young musicians will compete before professional adjudicators and a live audience to be chosen as Rotary Young Musician of the year.
This competition, organised by local Rotary Clubs, is open to both instrumentalists and singers aged 13-18 of at least Grade 7 standard. The six finalists will have been selected at competition heats in November 2024. Each performer will present a 15-minute programme of predominantly classical music.
The Young Musician competition is one of many organised by Rotary to showcase the talents and skills of young people.

Spaces for wheelchair users are available within the first 10 rows on the flat floor of the Hall.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs and emotional support animals are allowed in the performance space. Seats in rows AA-J on the flat floor are most suitable. If you prefer, you can leave your animal with a member of staff during the performance.
Hearing Facility
A Sennheiser MobileConnect assistive listening system is installed in the venue. Download the free App and use your own mobile device and headphones to listen to the performance. (Devices are available on request.)
