Key Information
Assistant House Manager
Full time, 37 hours
Salary: £29,706 per annum
With our vision of uniting people through the joy of live music, we programme a diverse range of artists, showcase amazing community events, use our spaces for a range of commercial business events and host our inspirational Music Education Hub performances.
Bristol Beacon is looking for an enthusiastic and capable Assistant House Manager to help lead our Front of House team. You’ll play a key role in delivering world-class customer service and ensuring the smooth running of everything from intimate performances to sell-out shows across our iconic venues.
You’ll coordinate event set-ups, manage stewarding teams, liaise with artists and clients, and be a friendly, visible presence for audiences and visitors. You’ll also support the House Manager with daily operations, staffing, safety, and customer care – all while making sure our venues are show-ready and welcoming at every turn.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in live environments, has strong people skills, and is confident leading a team.
We reserve the right to close applications a week before the deadline if a suitable number of applications are received.
Diversifying our workforce
We are committed to developing a more diverse workforce through applicants with the skills and experience to help us to widen our perspective and better serve the needs of our communities.
We particularly encourage applications from disabled and ethnically diverse backgrounds as these groups are currently underrepresented within the arts and culture sectors.
