About the role

Key Information

Casual Staff –  Stewards

£12.00 per hour

The once in a generation transformation of Bristol Beacon has created one of the best and most accessible performance and music education venues in Europe.  Our brand-new spaces inspire music lovers and artists to come together and share the joy of live music. With two international performance venues, a bright new restaurant, and our cellars in use for the first time as an education and performance space.  Bristol Beacon is a celebratory place full of warmth and light, where music lovers meet, and everyone belongs.

To enable us to host our range of amazing events, we are looking for more friendly and welcoming stewards to join our team!  With our vision of uniting people through the joy of live music, we programme a diverse range of artists, showcase amazing community events, use our spaces for a range of commercial business events and host our inspirational Music Education Hub performances.

This role requires you to be proactive, with good organisation skills and an understanding of what makes for great customer service. Full training will be given but ideal candidates will have good communication skills, the ability to enhance our visitor experience and provide support to meet visitor needs.

Our events happen over evenings and weekends as well as during the day, and we are particularly looking for staff who have evening and weekend availability.

We are committed to diversity, and we welcome applications from all sections of the community, we particularly encourage applications from disabled and ethnically diverse backgrounds as these groups are currently underrepresented within the arts and culture sectors.

Diversifying our workforce

We are committed to developing a more diverse workforce through applicants with the skills and experience to help us to widen our perspective and better serve the needs of our communities.

We particularly encourage applications from disabled and ethnically diverse backgrounds as these groups are currently underrepresented within the arts and culture sectors.
