Three people stood together next to some graffiti.

Firmly rooted in contemporary jazz, the Kjetil Mulelid Trio blends rich melodies, vital improvisations, and original compositions.

This piano trio plays in some of Norway’s most innovative jazz bands, including Norwegian Grammy winners Hegge, Megalodon Collective, Wako, and the Trondheim Jazz Orchestra. The group released its debut album in 2017 on Norway’s prestigious Rune Grammofon label, a trademark that stands for a major deal in the best experimental electronic, jazz, and improvised music.

Since their first album release, they have established the trio as one of Norway’s foremost jazz outfits. Pianist Kjetil Mulelid’s compositions expertly balance the energetic, rhythmically complex and harmonically rich music with beautiful, evocative melodies. Don’t miss the trio’s debut live performance in Bristol.
