Founded in 1973, the Philippine Philharmonic were one of the first Asian orchestras to receive international recognition and are now regarded as one of the finest of all orchestras coming from Southeast Asia.
With their award-winning conductor Grzegorz Nowak, they present an exciting and colourful programme that features some of the greatest classics of the balletic repertoire.
It will also be interesting to hear the orchestra’s interpretation of Vaughan Williams’ ever popular Lark Ascending and a performance of Tchaikovsky’s much loved Rococo variations with internationally acclaimed cellist Wen-Sinn Yang.
Please note: The Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra will replace the Buenos Aires Symphony Orchestra of Colón Opera who were originally due to perform on this date.

Orchestral Ticket Prices
There are five price bands for every concert in the 2024/25 orchestral season: Premium and Bands A – D, with the exception of Víkingur Ólafsson’s Piano Recital on Tue 8 Apr 2025.
Within price bands A-D, there are two types of ticket: Standard and Open Concession.
If you are under 26, there is a fixed ticket price available on a limited number of seats for every concert.
