Sea gentil Bristol es un día creado en conjunción con miembros de las comunidades de refugiados y solicitantes de asilo en Bristol. Entreteja las danzas culturales, el arte, la poesía, y la artesanía en una celebración autentica del rico tapiz cultural de identidades de las personas asiladas y migrantes que hoy viven en la ciudad.
El día también protagoniza el estreno mundial de ‘Odyssey’, una nueva obra de Jonathan Dove que combine la música y el teatro, la orquesta y el coro, que nos cuenta la historia del viaje de un refugiado en busca de seguridad.
Sea gentil Bristol quiere crear una plataforma para los refugiados y los que solicitan asilo, compartir sus experiencias, enseñarles la solidaridad, y avanzar la amistad compartido entre toda la gente de Bristol.

Bristol Beacon busca los artistas, los creadores, y proveedores conectados a las comunidades de refugiados y solicitantes de asilo que estén interesados en participar en el proyecto Sea gentil Bristol, y en contribuir a las actividades del día, antes del concierto de Odyssey en la tarde. Damos la bienvenida a las personas de cualquier nivel de experiencia.

Getting to the venue
Location: Bristol Beacon is located in the city centre with entrances on Colston Street and Trenchard Street.

Bicycle
Bicycle racks can be found in front of the main entrance on Trenchard Street, Colston Street, and on the city centre promenade. Find your nearest cycle routes using Cycle Planner.
Car parking
Trenchard Street multi-storey car park is 50m away directly behind Bristol Beacon.
Bristol Clean Air Zone
Bristol Beacon is inside the Bristol Clean Air Zone. Check if your vehicle will be charged and how much you’ll have to pay.
Bus
The city centre bus stop is 250m from Bristol Beacon where most bus services stop.
Access
Mobility
Bristol Beacon foyer has level access from street level with lifts to all levels and areas.
Assistance Dogs
Registered assistance dogs and emotional support animals are allowed in the venue.
Hearing Facility
There is an induction loop at the box office. You can use this by adjusting your hearing aid to the ‘T’ setting. There is no hearing loop facility for the foyer stage.
