Come join us down in the cellars this half-term Halloween morning, for a spellbinding family dance party.
Expect a jam-packed hour of treats (no tricks!). Two enchanting artists will lead you through a high energy session of music, dance and movement games, with props, lights and fun by the cauldron-load.
This will be enjoyed by children aged 3-8, but will also be fun for all the family! Fancy dress is strongly encouraged (but please be aware there may be younger children there and we want them to sleep that night!)
Find parties overwhelming? There will also be a quiet space for children who need time out or have additional sensory needs. Easy-read social stories describing the event are available for all families upon request.
Read more about DJ Quest and Lotte Nørgaard, the two artists leading the dance party, below.
Presented by Bristol Beacon
Dance Party 1: 10am – 11am
Dance Party 2: 11.30am – 12.30pm
For children aged 3-8 years old (older siblings welcome too)

DJ Quest
Quest is a former UK DMC DJ champion ranking 3rd place in the world championships. Using big beats and baselines, quick mixing and scratching skills to move the body and souls of any crowd.
He has gone on to DJ and tour extensively and is always on a quest to mesmerise, energise and electrify the floor! His experience allows him to play many genres while mostly specialising in Hip Hop, Funk, Soul and other classics along with mostly everything from big bass music to chilled out lofi and Hip Hop.
Quest also performs as an MC so is always there to further motivate a crowd!
Lotte Nørgaard
Having grown up in Denmark and Cornwall, Lotte has a BA in Theatre from Dartington College of Arts and has worked on set and in production for theatre, tv, film and radio as well as a background in education and community arts.
She is co-founder of Bristol based Dragonbird Theatre who have been offering immersive theatre and play to families in the South West for 10 years.
Lotte will be leading the dance party with music from DJ Quest, as she loves to get her groove on and is never happier, than when the whole room is dancing. This makes her other job as a ceilidh caller all the better!
