Join over 1,100 KS2 children from 30 primary schools across Bristol in Bristol Beacon’s spectacular main hall for a summer singing concert to remember.
The massed singing event will feature a live house-band, as well as the incredible Britton Organ, accompanying young singers to perform songs they have been practicing in the classroom, as one choir of youth voices. This summer, the joyous and exciting song selection explores the themes of determination, positivity, friendship, and a healthy dose of defiance!
These special events are open to all schools to choose to take part in and they provide a platform for young people to feel the excitement of live music as well as creating life-long memories. We are so grateful to the hardworking teachers in our city who make this possible for so many children. We are also hugely grateful to the Jack and Monica Britton Trust, the National Lottery Heritage Fund, and all the individuals who have supported the refurbishment of our Britton Organ that will accompany the children in a brand new commissioned song for this event!

There are two performances. Children will be performing on only one of these days, Wed 1 Jul or Thu 2 Jul, depending on their school. Please remember to confirm with the school which day your child(ren) will be performing on, before booking your ticket.

Location: Beacon Hall is located within Bristol Beacon. Head to Level 1 and follow signs to find the auditorium.

Bicycle
Bicycle racks can be found in front of the main entrance on Trenchard Street, Colston Street, and on the city centre promenade. Find your nearest cycle routes using Cycle Planner.
Car parking
Trenchard Street multi-storey car park is 200m away, directly behind Bristol Beacon.
Bristol Clean Air Zone
Bristol Beacon is inside the Bristol Clean Air Zone. Check if your vehicle will be charged and how much you’ll have to pay.
Bus
Most bus services stop in and around the city centre promenade, 250m from Bristol Beacon.

Mobility
Spaces for wheelchair users are in:
- row S in the centre of the rear Stalls (10 spaces)
- row Z in the left and right wings at the back of Lower Tier (4 spaces, 2 on each side),
- row Z on the right only at the back of Upper Tier (2 spaces)
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs and emotional support animals are allowed in the performance space. Seats in row F are most suitable. If you prefer, you can leave your animal with a member of staff during the performance.
Hearing Facility
A Sennheiser MobileConnect assistive listening system is installed in the venue. Download the free App and use your own mobile device and headphones to listen to the performance. (Devices are available on request.)
