A graphic image of orange flames and smoke.

Experience the dramatic power and sublime beauty of Giuseppe Verdi’s Requiem, performed in Bristol Beacon’s resonant acoustic by 140 voices and a full symphony orchestra, fusing operatic drama with profound emotional depth and spiritual intensity.

This monumental roller coaster work for chorus, soloists, and orchestra brings together vast forces in one of the most celebrated settings of the Requiem Mass ever composed. From the thunderous intensity and extreme drama of the Dies Irae to the serene peace of the Lacrimosa and the transcendent hope of the Libera me, Verdi’s masterpiece vividly portrays the full range of human emotion with unforgettable impact.

A stunning line-up of soloists bring Verdi’s passionate and heartfelt melodies to life for an unforgettable evening of passion, power and beauty.
