New corporate partnership announced between Bristol Beacon and Plimsoll Productions
- Bristol Beacon News
Sustainability, diversity and creativity. These are the core values that underpin our work and ambition to celebrate and promote unity and joy through live music.
This week, Mon 23 May 2022, we announced a partnership with the Bristol-based content and entertainment organisation Plimsoll Productions who share these values.
With this sponsorship we are able to raise greater awareness of the work we do as a charity, every day, to help more people make space for music. As a music charity, part of our remit involves fundraising to support both the transformation of our venue and our citywide music education programme, so relationships like this are vital to our work.
What will the partnership bring?
We’re very excited by this new corporate partnership with Plimsoll Productions as it will see us collaborate on a number of creative projects.
At Bristol Beacon, we invite all members of Bristol’s communities to share, celebrate and participate in creative projects. Our comprehensive programmes, such as Mail a Musician, Our Music Club, A New Song for Bristol, BLOOM, and many more, work in collaboration with Bristol’s diverse communities to ensure music is at the heart of our city.
Plimsoll, as a leading global content company and largest independent TV production company in the UK, will bring their expertise in video production and storytelling to help us showcase and raise awareness of the breadth of our work; enabling us to reach and engage with greater audiences.
“We believe music can transform the lives of our city’s most invisible and isolated groups including children in care and with disabilities, dementia patients in care homes and those suffering profound economic and social barriers.”
Louise Mitchell, Bristol Beacon Chief Executive
