Celebrating the centenary of Miles Davis’ birth, the Steve Waterman Octet pays tribute to one of jazz’s most influential and innovative figures.

Led by acclaimed trumpeter and educator Steve Waterman, the ensemble explores music from across Davis‘ extraordinary career, from the cool jazz of Birth of the Cool to the landmark orchestral collaborations with Gil Evans, alongside Waterman’s own arrangements of Davis’ compositions.

Featuring an outstanding line-up of leading UK jazz musicians, this special concert honours Miles Davis’ enduring legacy with fresh interpretations, exceptional musicianship and a deep appreciation of one of the genre’s greatest pioneers.
